Toyota

Forget about “Oh What a Feeling” and “You Asked for it, You Got it – Toyota.”

The Japanese auto giant has come up with a new tagline — “Let’s Go Places” — designed to convey that its vehicles are more exciting and engaging than before and that the company invites customers “to take part in shaping Toyota’s future.”

Toyota said the new theme will make its national debut nationally on Dec. 31 as part of the campaign for its redesigned Avalon sedan. In 2013, “Let’s Go Places” will be part of  all of the company’s national and regional advertising and other communications in all market segments. The new battle cry replaces Toyota’s previous tagline “Moving Forward.”

The car maker said it developed teh new theme through collaboration with its longtime marketing firms Saatchi & Saatchi, Dentsu America, Conill, Burrell, Intertrend, and Grieco Research.

“Let’s Go Places” speaks to the evolution of Toyota and our commitment to leading through innovation, enriching lives and connecting with customers in new ways they define,” said Bill Fay, group vice president and general manager of teh Toyota division.
